Marco Maniera began his career in the late ’90s as a promoter and soon started DJing in renowned clubs, sharing the stage with acts like Patrick Kunkel, Hobo, and Martin Eyerer. Since 2005, he has been producing his own tracks, supported by international stars such as Richie Hawtin, Umek, and Mihalis Safras, with releases on labels like Night Light Records, Frequenza, and Natura Viva. Several of his tracks have reached Top 10 positions on global platforms. His sound—“peaktime music”—is powerful, driving, and timeless. Since 2011, Marco has been collaborating closely with Alex D’Elia and founded his own label, Starcake Records, to support emerging talents in electronic music. Born in Bologna, Italy, and now based in Hanover, Germany, Marco combines passion, energy, and southern spirit—qualities that shine through in his vibrant mix of House, Tech-House, and Techno.
